Two Drivers Claim the Other Ran a Stop Sign and Caused Crash

Just before 2:30 p.m., San Angelo Police responded to a crash on Johnson and Beauregard.

Officer John Palmer said the driver of a Nissan Armada was traveling southbound on Johnson and the driver of a Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound on Beauregard.

Palmer said the driver of the Armada said she stopped at the stop sign, and the Toyota ran the stop sign, which caused the crash.

However, the driver of the Corolla said she was stopped at the stop sign, and the driver of the Armada ran the stop sign, which caused the collision.

“All I can do is write up what each driver says,” Palmer stated. He added the insurance companies will take it from there.

The passengers in the Toyota suffered minor injuries, but no one went to the hospital.
