Two Isolated Crashes Cause 29th and Farr Street to Shut Down

Today is the day for crashes, and this evening, San Angelo Police officers responded to two additional ones that happened simultaneously on 29th and Farr Streets at approximately 5:45 p.m.

Officer John Bouligny said a white Nissan Armada and a late model GM pickup were traveling westbound on 29th St. The driver of the pickup claimed he couldn’t see and hit the Armada in front of him.

After the crash, the occupants of the vehicles complained of injuries, but nothing incapacitating. Bouligny said no one went to the hospital via ambulance. However, one did mention about going in a private vehicle.

Bouligny also said the driver of the pickup did receive a citation for failure to control speed.

Just prior to this crash, in the same location, another crash involving two other vehicles shared the same circumstances, except the drivers pulled their vehicles off the roadway and exchanged information. As soon as those vehicles left, the one mentioned began.
