Theft and Drugs Remain High on Tuesday

The San Angelo Police Department and Tom Green County Sheriff's Office arrested 27 people in San Angelo on Tuesday, many of which were arrested on multiple charges and warrants. 

Theft and drug possession were the leading charges Tuesday, accounting for five and four arrests, respectively. Three additional inmates were booked on marijuana possession charges, as well as another three for assault. 

Public intoxication, possession of a switchblade, evading arrest and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon all saw one arrest apiece.

There were 24 inmates released on Tuesday.
