Warrants and DWIs constituted the majority of Sunday arrests, accounting for eight and six arrests apiece. Many of those booked on warrants also had additional charges attached.
Pot and drug possession were low compared to last week, each accounting for three inmates booked into Tom Green County Jail. Of those six inmates, several had multiple counts of drug possession. There were also three people arrested for public intoxication Sunday.
The report includes two inmates arrested for assault, and a third for assault with a deadly weapon. One person was arrested for possession of a switchblade.
In total, 30 inmates were arrested Sunday and 26 were released.
