SAN ANGELO, TX — The Whataburger on Knickerbocker Rd closed earlier this month for a building refresh and is now almost ready to reopen for business.
A little over a week later, the booming burger joint is on the verge of slinging famous burgers and fries once again.
San Angelo LIVE! swung by this morning, March 15, and spoke to the job site superintendent, who said their work is done.
Whataburger now has to decide on the opening date now that the contractors have finished construction, we were told.
We contacted a couple of the locations in town, and both said that the 4646 Knickerbocker Rd location will open on Saturday, preferably by 6 a.m.
We also reported earlier that a new Whataburger was opened on Sherwood Way this past Monday, March 11.
Soon, there will be four operational Whataburgers in town.
