New Coffee Shop Taking Shape on Knickerbocker Rd

SAN ANGELO, TX – The construction of the new coffee shop on Knickerbocker next to Texas Burger is progressing rapidly.

As previously reported, on Jul. 6, 2023, the City of San Angelo Building Department approved a permit for two new coffee shops in San Angelo. The two 7brews are scheduled for lots in the 1400 block of Knickerbocker and the 400 block of N. Bryant. For the original article, see: Permits Pending for 2 New Coffee Shops in San Angelo.

After just two months of construction, the location on Knickerbocker Rd. is nearly complete. Crews have moved in the modular building structure, and as of Aug. 30, 2023, they were pouring concrete.

As for the location on Bryant, construction has not yet begun. Instead, at this location, demolition crews are still working on clearing out the former Border States building.

No completion date has been given for either location. However, the Knickerbocker location is certain to open before the Bryant location.

The following is the 7brew "About Us" section from their website:

"7 Brew was born from a desire to change drive-thru coffee into a fun, mind-blowing experience for everyone. We dreamed of serving premium coffee in record time and making new friends while we’re at it. The dream came alive with our first 'stand' in Rogers, AR and our 7 original coffees. Today, we’re cranking out all kinds of custom-handcrafted drinks in different locations throughout the country. 7 Brew is so much more than just a coffee stand. It’s the concept of cultivating kindness and joy with every drink – through our service, speed, quality, energy, and atmosphere. It’s contagious and it’s changing the drive-thru coffee industry."
