Sherwood Way Gets New Businesses

SAN ANGELO, TX — The west side of San Angelo is under construction again. The Walmart side of Sherwood Way is getting a new addition in a few months.

John King Construction has been working in the plot between the Stripes convenience store and the Wendy’s in front of Walmart where the old Chick-Fil-A was.

The building is going to be a new Starbucks coffeehouse. The building is expected to have room for one more business when it is completed. The Starbucks will have indoor and outdoor seating with an awning.

The site manager for the construction crew estimated that construction of the building will take three to four months to complete. “All construction projects run into issues occasionally, so we prepare and estimate our finish dates accordingly,” said John Karfit from King Construction.

The Starbucks Coffeehouse will be the sixth location in San Angelo. This will hopefully help with those long coffee lines in the morning.

The building with Starbucks will be located at 5651 Sherwood Way. The project is estimated to cost $800,000.
