Plumbing Problems Postpone Panda Express Til Tuesday
SAN ANGELO, TX -- Panda Express lovers will have to wait a little longer for their Orange Chicken with fried rice and chow mein.
San Angelo Panda Express General Manager Paul Adre said late Friday that plumbing issues have forced the fast casual gourmet Chinese food restaurant to postpone opening the new restaurant until Tuesday morning, January 2, 2018.
The popular and much anticipated restaurant located in front of the new H-E-B on Sherwood Way has social media all abuzz.
As we reported earlier, Panda Express was scheduled to open earlier this week but the actual opening date has been a moving target. This morning, Adre said they were prepared to open for business Sunday, but that has been moved to Tuesday morning because of the unforeseen plumbing issues.
According to the restaurant’s website, Andrew Cherng opened the first restaurant in Glendale, CA in 1982. The franchise now has 2,000 locations including restaurants on Guam, Dubai, Mexico, Canada and South Korea.
