One Sent to Hospital After Red Light Runner Crashed Into an Accord on South Chadbourne

One person was sent to the hospital early Thursday morning after their car was hit by a 2006 Ford pickup, police said.

According to the initial police report, a gray 2006 Ford pickup was eastbound on Avenue N, crossing Chadborune Street. Meanwhile, a white 2012 Honda Accord was traveling southbound on Chadborune through the intersection.

Witnesses told police that the Ford pickup did not stop at the red light and crashed into the Honda.

“Most likely the driver the pickup will be cited for running the red light,” San Angelo Police Traffic Investigator Ed Hunger said.

The crash happened at approximately 7:20 a.m. Thursday morning.
