U.S. 67 Down to One Lane for Next Month

A stretch of highway near the two-fatality crash that occured on Saturday on U.S. 67 will be down to one lane for approximately the next month, the Irion County Sheriff's Office reports.

The lane closure will be effective Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will affect the area near the Tom Green County/Irion County line.

During the hours in which traffic is reduced to one lane TxDOT will be resurfacing the road and motorists are advised to use caution while traveling through the work zone.
