24th Annual Shannon Sporting Clay Shootout

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Claybird Association will host the 24th annual Shannon Sporting Clay Shoot on Saturday, April 27.

Continuing its tradition as one of the largest charity shoots in Texas, information states that the event will draw more than 400 shooters and 1,000 spectators and volunteers to the San Angelo area.

Along with cooler temperatures, this year’s event will feature a one-shooting rotation on three different courses: silent and live auctions, “amazing food,” and more.

Participants can look forward to a variety of activities, including silent and live auctions. The proceeds will go towards enhancing patient care at Shannon.

Safety measures such as distancing and special precautions will be implemented to ensure the well-being of all attendees.

Funds raised from the event are earmarked for several critical programs at Shannon, including AirMed 1-regional outreach, Diabetes Management, Oncology Angel Fund, Patient Benevolence Fund, Care Coordination, and the Nurse Education program.

The event is open to individuals and teams, welcoming shooters of all ages and skill levels.

Participants will receive a package that includes breakfast and lunch, a “swag bag,” beverages post-event, and the opportunity to win one of over 30 prizes.

Prizes include firearms and $750 Academy gift cards.

Registration is now open for those interested in joining this event.

For more information or to register, potential participants are encouraged to contact Connie Whitman at 325.234.9250 or Hope Barron at 325.747.6160.
