WATCH: Wild West Fest Brings Hot, Rising Stars to San Angelo's RiverStage

SAN ANGELO, TX — On Friday night, three up and coming music acts, William Clark Green, Flatland Calvary, and Kody West, came to San Angelo's RiverStage.

These three performances were a part of the annual Wild West Fest, an event sponsored by Wall Ag Boosters.

WATCH: Thomas Halfmann, co-organizer of the festival, describes the impact:

Kody West opened the show at 6 p.m. with his drum heavy, rockin’ sound. Before the sun was even fully set West’s liveliness energized the crowd.

Flatland Calvary charged onto the stage with their folk and rock influenced hits. Their setlist focused mostly on their new album “Homeland Insecurity” but they were unafraid to venture deeper into their archives.

But no one had the crowd singing along quite as much as William Clark Green. With his spirited band at his back he lead the crowd in a rendition of “Ringling Road”, his new hit “Goner”, and many other fan favorites. Nothing had the crowd singing louder than when the band broke out into a version of “She likes the Beatles” that included pieces of Beatles’ and Rolling Stones’ songs, “With a Little Help From My Friends” and “Start Me Up” respectively.

According to unofficial crowd counts, at least 1,300 revelers attended the show.
