Endangered Runaway Returned Safe After Overnight Search

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — An endangered runaway female subject was located safe a little after midnight this morning and has been returned home. 

It happened in the Buffalo Heights area after the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office received a report regarding the runaway subject. 

According to the sheriff’s office, a night-long search for the juvenile extended into the early morning hours with the assistance of air assets of US Customs and Border Protection 

The search was additionally conducted by vehicle and by foot. 

The Sheriff’s office reports that at approximately 11:45 a.m., the juvenile was located by a Tom Green County deputy in the area on foot and safely returned to the parents.     

The Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division and the Texas Highway Patrol also assisted in the search for the missing child.
