Pilot and Passenger Survive Plane Crash on Highway

 

BANDERA,  TX – The pilot and passenger of a small plane walked away Saturday afternoon after the craft crash landed on a highway outside Bandera. 

KTXS is reporting the Piper PA46 made an emergency landing around 5:30 p.m. Saturday on highway 16 near Bandera. 

The Federal Aviation Administration is reporting the pilot radioed he was having problems with the plane before the emergency landing. 

The FAA is investigating the cause of the crash. 

The Piper was still at the scene late Sunday.
