DPS: Two Dead After Pickup Collides with Tanker Truck

 

MIDLAND, TX – The Texas Department of Public Safety has confirmed that two men died Friday night in a fiery crash on FM 1208 in Midland County. 

According to CBS7, on January 10, troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety were dispatched to FM 1208 for the report of a major motor vehicle accident.

When they arrived, the troopers found a F-250 and a oilfield tanker truck that had collided and burst into flames. 

After further investigation, authorities have determined that Juan Espinosa, 30, of Midland was driving the pickup on the wrong side of the road and crashed into the tanker truck. 

The driver of the tanker truck has been identified as Javier Delgado, 44, of Miami FL. 

Both drivers were killed in the crash.
