Volvo Crashes into and Flips Buick SUV on Johnson Street

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A Volvo station wagon ran a stop sign Sunday evening at the intersection of Ave. L and Johnson and crashed into a Buick SUV causing the Buick to flip upside down.  

According to San Angelo Police Officer Mc Andrews, the Buick SUV was headed north on Johnson St. and the Volvo was stopped at the intersection.  According to reports, the driver of the Volvo didn’t see the Buick and drove into the intersection crashing into the SUV causing it to flip.

The airbags in the Buick deployed, but there are no reports of serious injuries.  

The driver of the Volvo was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign.
