SAN ANTONIO, TX — A 37-year-old man has been arrested after police say he sexually assaulted a child for several years.
According to KTXS, Gilbert Johnson is accused of assaulting a child "almost every other night.” According to police, the alleged abuse began when the child was 7 or 8 years old.
According to court documents Johnson “would tell the victim he needed his 'time' with her and would often bribe the victim with candy, toys, and video games as a reward."
The girl’s mother told investigators that when she confronted Johnson he confessed to the crimes.
Johnson has been charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child.

The mom was in on it. That poor baby. She will likely not ever fully recover. Luckily the state of Texas has a prison system that delivers justice when the courts and parents refuse.
