Gruesome Details Revealed in Vanessa Guillen's Murder

KILLEEN, TX — Gruesome details have emerged regarding the horrifying murder of Vanessa Guillen. According to the family’s lawyer, Natalie Khawam, Vanessa was killed in the armory room while on duty on April 22.

In a statement to Army Times, Khawam provided details that were given to her by the Army Criminal Investigation Command officials.

According to Khawam, Aaron David Robinson, the soldier who committed suicide on Wednesday, murdered Vanessa with a hammer.

“This heinous act caused her blood to be splashed all over the armory room,” said Khawam in the statement.

Robinson allegedly then contacted the wife of a fellow soldier with whom he was having an affair “to help him bury her bloody body.” The couple then allegedly cut up Vanessa using a machete.

“At first, they tried to set her on fire, but she wouldn’t burn. Then they dismembered this beautiful US soldier’s body with a machete.”

After Vanessa’s body was dismembered, her body was transported to a shallow grave near the Leon River. Details regarding how the suspects removed Vanessa’s body from the army post have not been released.

Robinson’s married girlfriend, identified as 22-year-old Cecily Anne Aguilar, is currently being held at the Bell County Jail with unknown charges.

Vanessa’s family is demanding transparency and claim that Fort Hood lied to them from the beginning.

“Sooner or later the truth will come out because we are not going to stop,” said Guillen’s older sister, Myra, during Wednesday’s press conference in D.C. “We have to know everything.”
