Another West Texas City is on it's Way to Outlaw Abortion

 

BIG SPRING, TX – The City of Big Spring is looking become another city in Texas to outlaw abortion.

According to Newswest 9, on January 15, members of the city council of Big Spring have voted 3-2 in favor of an ordinance that made abortion illegal. They will have another hearing on January 28th that will make the ordinance official. 

Now the town that have outlawed abortion must wait to find out if the U.S. Supreme deems this legal. 

The ordinance put in place gives relatives of babies that have been aborted the right to take action in civil court. 

Other sanctuary cities include Colorado City. Abilene and Lamesa are considered a potential cities. 

As for now the City of San Angelo has made no moves on becoming a sanctuary city.
