Burn Ban Lifted in Taylor County

 

ABILENE, TX – After receiving nearly two inches of rain, Taylor County commissioners made the decision to lift the burn ban on Thursday.

According to KTXS, Judge Downing Bolls said “"adequate precipitation has fallen throughout Taylor County today." With more expected to fall in the next several days the burn ban was lifted.

As of 9:00 a.m. the Abilene Regional Airport had received 1.72” of rain, Hamby received 2.26”, and KTXS Studios in North Abilene received 1.93”.
