Texas Department of Public Safety Closes Offices Due to Weather

 

ABILENE, TX -- The Texas Department of Public Safety has closed several offices in West Central Texas because of winter weather conditions.  

 

According to Trooper Fred Biddle from Abilene, the following DPS offices throughout the district have been closed for the remainder of the day.  I have no further information as to what tomorrow will bring, but will send it out as soon as it is available.  Thank you and be safe.

  • Scurry County – Snyder
  • Mitchell County – Colorado City
  • Nolan County – Sweetwater
  • Fisher County – Roby
  • Runnels County – Ballinger
  • Brown County – Brownwood
  • Haskell County – Haskell
  • Throckmorton County  – Woodson
  • Callahan  County – Baird, Cross Plains
  • Eastland County – Eastland
  • Stephens County – Breckenridge
  • Knox County  - Benjamin
  • Stonewall County – Aspermont
  • Jones County – Anson
  • Shackelford County – Albany
  • Coleman County – Coleman
  • Comanche County – Comanche and Deleon
