VIDEO: Children's Advocacy Center Raises Awareness To Strengthen Future

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - The Children's Advocacy Center of Greater West Texas along with a number of local business brought the community together over the weekend to raise awareness to prevent child abuse. 

The picnic in the park at Kirby Park saw families come together for a great cause in support of child abuse awareness.

"We just wanted the community to be aware of the agencies that are here," said Justin DeLoach Director of Community Development at Children's Advocacy Center of Greater West Texas. "We wanted the kids to know that this is a safe community and there are people in the community to help them and that's what we're trying to promote."
