Concho Valley Paws Gives West Texans a Reason to Adopt Local Animals

SAN ANGELO, TX – In a recent adoption drive, The Concho Valley Paws Organization gave local animals an opportunity to go home with a new and loving family. All adoption fees were covered, but the only requirement was, “the willingness to care for one these dogs for the rest of their lives,” said Concho Valley Paws board member Tammy Van Stockum.

In most cases shelter animals have lived a more strenuous life than others, but according to Van Stockum it’s the shelter animals that can leave a lasting impact on a family. “They have been through so much that they imprint on the first person that loves them and they love them for the rest of their life.”
