79-Year-Old Reported Missing Since Wednesday Found Safe

 

Update: Police announced 79-year-old R.A. Anders has been found and is in safe hands at 11:10 a.m. Sunday morning.

At 6:24p.m. yesterday, the San Angelo Police Department sent out a Nixle alert regarding 79-year-old San Angelo man, R.A. Anders, who was last seen Wednesday. SAPD officials are asking for the public's help in locating this "at risk" individual.

Anders is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, and he has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen at Best Value Inn, 1601 S. Bryant Blvd., Wednesday, May 18, at noon. His vehicle is a 2000 Chevy Silverado pickup, and his license plate number is Texas LP-CHV9797.

"Mr. Anders is listed as 'at risk' due to medical conditions that pose a risk to his health and safety," said SAPD officials. "If you have any information that can assist in helping safely locate Anders, please call 911."
