Jeep Crashes into Truck Parked in Driveway

 

A black Jeep heading down Oxford Street in San Angelo Friday crashed into a Ford F-150 parked in the driveway of a house situated in the 3500 block of Oxford at approximately 9:19 p.m.

The driver suffered some injuries, the severity of his condition has not yet been relayed. He is currently being given a sobriety test. 

Update 9:52 p.m.

The suspect has been handcuffed and was the only person in the vehicle. He also allegedly took out a light pole before hitting the parked truck. Reporters are awaiting statement from officers on scene. 

Update 10:11 p.m.

According to Officer Bradshaw, the driver was driving west on Oxford Street, drove through several yards, narrowly missing a mailbox before hitting one at a residence. After hitting that mailbox, he went through a yard and took out a light pole before stopping. The F-150 sustained no damage, it is suspected that he came to a stop just before impact. The driver was arrested for a suspected DWI. He suffered minor injuries.
