President Trump to Attend Fundraiser in Permian Basin this Month

ODESSA, TX –  On Tuesday Republican Party officials confirmed President Donald Trump is expected to make his first public appearance as president in the Permian Basin at the end of the month.

Officials have confirmed that a luncheon event is scheduled for July 29 that could include photo opportunities with the president and even a chance to sit with the man himself.

The event is the areas latest attempt in bringing the president to the Midland-Odessa area after Vice President Mike Pence visited Midland in April of 2019.

Tickets to the luncheon are available to the public for $2,800 a piece, as well as photo opportunities with President Trump going for $50,000 a piece.

Guests can even purchase seats at a round table with the president that are currently going for $100,000.

The last sitting president to make an appearance in Midland was George W. Bush in October of 2008, as He and first lady Laura Bush visited the George W. Bush Childhood Home, which had been developed a couple of years prior.

Midland County Republican Party chairman said, “Yes, I understand he is coming to our area and we are very excited!"

Trump’s visit to Midland comes in the midst of an election year, as presidential candidates’ visit the Midland-Odessa area for campaigning.
