Woman Charged With Voter Fraud in 2020 Primary

 

BIG SPRING, TX -- The Howard County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a woman accused of voting twice in the 2020 primary election.

According to CBS7, 46-year-old Isabel Calderon was charged with Illegal Voting after the Secretary of State Elections Division discovered duplicate ballots had been issued in her name.

Calderon was interviewed by a Texas Ranger and she allegedly confessed to voting twice, she was then charged and arrested.

The investigation was conducted by the Texas Rangers in order to prevent a conflict of interest. According to the sheriff’s office this was because the Sheriff Stan Parker had been on the election ballot.
