How San Angeloans Voted in the Constitutional Amendment Election

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Voters in Tom Green County have spoken in the 2019 Constitutional Amendment election as polls closed at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening. 

Results are forthcoming.  

There were ten proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution created by the Legislature during the last session. 

The amendment that garnered the most attention was proposition 4 which would prohibit a state tax on income.  

On the ballot in San Angelo was the proposition to use funds from the Lake Nasworthy trust fund for improvements to the sewer system around the lake and for improvements to public areas at the lake.
