Is Beto's Run Over? We'll All Know Thursday

EL PASO, TX -- Sources close to the Beto O'Rourke camp are saying the former El Paso Congressman and Democratic Party darling has decided not to run for U.S. Senator against popular incumbent Republican John Cornyn.

Political operatives for months have salivated about the possible matchup of the social media favorite and unconventional candidate challenging Texas' Senior Senator after O'Rourke lost in single digits to Texas Senator Ted Cruz.  Media speculation and the Texas Democratic Party have been all abuzz about O'Rourke since his narrow loss to Cruz in the November general election.

O'Rourke's electrifying candidacy energized Texas Democrats and got them to the polls in the closest Texas-wide race in over two decades.  He came close, but Beto still lost to Cruz.

The 'Beto Effect' in down ballot races across the state ushered in many Democrats into office who were not expected to win especially in the coveted Courts of Appeals where dozens of incumbent Republican Judges were ousted.

O'Rourke easily raised over $70 million dollars for his failed senate campaign and that has fueled speculation he will enter the 2020 Democratic Party Presidential race.

Beto has said he will decide by the 'end of the month.'

Expect a final decision Thursday.

Good grief, will Yantis' schoolboy crush on open border socialist Beetle Bailey Beto never end? First, Yantis did his best to suppress conservative voters who read his drivel during the recent Senate race. Then, he proclaimed BBB was gonna win the presidency. Now, he's painting his nails with breathless anticipation hoping BBB will get his narrow arse handed to him by Cornyn. Yantis, your physical attraction to young socialist BBB has diminished what limited journalistic attributes you possess. He's not gonna ask you out, Yantis. Stick to traffic reports and leave political commentary to the big boys. Good grief....
