Concho River Trashed After Thousands Flock to Christoval

CHRISTOVAL, TX – The South Concho River was flooded with people over the weekend and with that brought in tons of trash.

The Christoval Facebook Page posted today a number of photos showing how the South Concho River looked after "1,000s" of people flocked to Pugh Park.

Trash cans are full what you think gona happen looks like dome bagged and stacked it by full cans There’s alwalys gona be that problem no one goes thru on Friday make sure cans are ready for the weekend county used to have a guy one guy go thru there and park in knicbocker 3 days a week and clean up that job was done away with years ago he also ran dump ground aka landfill

It hard to make a comment when we don't know the facts. My first question is which the Covid 19 why was there 1000 people gathered at the park? There is no way to stay 6 ft apart at this park. If there is that many in one area and anyone had Covid 19 they all need to be tested. Next where was the law enforcement that should of told them to go home as they should know the rules of social distancing. Law enforcement could of kept it from getting to that many people in one place. As for the trash I can only see the once picture of a blue trash can and it is full and trash is sit around it. At least some got it as close to the trash can as possible. To resolve the trash problem either place some small dumpsters in the area, add more of the blue containers for trash, limit the number of people to be in Pugh Park at a time and have it monitered, and last of all, close the park.

scum if heavy fines were handed out to these bums they might think twice or may not people who do this have no proper upbrining
