How do you celebrate Fathers Day in San Angelo?

SAN ANGELO, TX-- Just in case you aren't planning on firing up the smoker or boiler to cook while you listen to the same dad jokes you've heard all your life, we at San Angelo Live want to help you figure out how to celebrate Father's Day this Sunday.

For lunch or dinner plans, you could always take your dad to Angry Cactus, Grand China Buffet, Knosh or Twin Peaks.

At Twin Peaks, it's swimsuit week. Angry Cactus will have a buffet like Grand China Buffet always does. And Knosh has really good food.

Maybe your dad is the sporty type. Right now, Quicksand Golf Course is in tip-top shape with beautiful green fairways and even better greens.

Maybe the lake is calling your dad's name and he wants to wet a line. The forecast for Sunday is partly cloudy with a high of 97 and the fishing has been pretty good as of late.

You could also take your dad to the San Angelo Lion's Balloonfest this weekend. The event runs Friday through Sunday with a pancake breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning. The competition balloon flight will take place at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

No matter what you do for Father's Day, make sure your Dad knows you love him.

Ask Beto O'Rourke to blow up one of the Hot Air Balloons from the Balloonfest so that he, Nancy, and Chucky can fly home from the border.
