Report: 1,200 New Infections Confirmed In San Angelo


SAN ANGELO, TX –– Covid-19 continues to surge in Tom Green County as officials report more than 1,200 cases in just three days.

According to the report, the following infections were confirmed over the weekend:

Jan. 8, 2022 Report | New positives: 518

  • Total positive cases: 29,969
  • Active cases: 3,319
  • Currently hospitalized: 28
  • New deaths: 0

Jan. 9, 2022 Report | New positives: 360

  • Total positive cases: 30,329
  • Active cases: 3,652
  • Currently hospitalized: 35
  • New deaths: 0

Jan. 10, 2022 Report | New positives: 380

  • Total positive cases: 30,709
  • Active cases: 4,032
  • Currently hospitalized: 33
  • New deaths: 2

The deaths reported on Monday have been identified as residents of Tom Green County. They were an unvaccinated male in his 60s and a fully vaccinated female in his 90s.

This brings the total death count to 485 –– 308 from Tom Green County and 177 from other counties.

The City of San Angelo also announced that "due to the current high volume of data related to COVID-19 cases, the City’s Health Department and Communications Department will be making changes to the COVID-19 reporting."

Starting today, daily reports will include the total number of positive cases, number of active cases, number of hospitalized patients, and new infections and deaths.

The daily report will no longer include demographics such as gender, age, ethnicity, and county of residence.

Every Friday the report will include the following data:

  • Cumulative number of positive cases
  • Active cases
  • Released cases
  • Vaccination numbers (provided by the state)
  • Positivity rate
  • Total number of tests
  • Total number of negative tests
  • Cumulative hospitalized
  • Currently hospitalized
  • Currently in ICU
  • Cumulative deaths
  • Vaccination status for COVID-19-related deaths since July 1, 2021
  • Percentage of vaccinated/unvaccinated that are currently hospitalized

Anyway, like one of the other serial posters here said, at that age they probably died with covid instead of from covid.

Notice the unvaccinated person that died is much much younger.

Also, I knew this was coming, and have been saying so since late November, I didn't know it was going to be so much so quick though.

I’ve been saying that for months it’s you lefties who are just now acknowledging it ;)

Actually not just about age but co-morbidities…which younger people suffer from as well ;)

Calm down, just the next phase of the plandemic. 

This was designed for everyone to get it, live or die.

After everyone has had China virus it will slowly disappear until another poison is released upon us.
