San Angelo Live Blood Drive Attracts 58 Donors

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angeloans heard the call and stepped up to donate blood during a blood drive held on Thursday and Friday of last week. The Giving and Living Blood Drive hosted by San Angelo Live welcomed 58 donors over the course of two days. Maintaining an adequate blood supply is essential for this community and for the area hospitals that rely on the local blood bank.

Donating blood is a safe practice and Vitalant is taking extra precautionary methods to ensure the safety of all donors.

Those who wish to donate may visit the center during this time:

  • Monday – Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Friday & Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Every other Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (March 29, April 12 and April 26)

Those who are unable to visit the center during the listed times can visit the blood drive that will be hosted on Wednesday, April 15 from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 16 from 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Shannon Clinic.

Appointments are mandatory due to social spacing. To make an appointment call 877-258-4825 and give the code: Shannon.

Donors can choose between a receive their choice of 2 movie passes or a $10 Gift Shop Gift Certificate or $10 Shamrock Gift Certificate.
