Flu Shots Available at Shannon Locations

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Shannon Medical Center, urgent care centers, and its clinics are offering several ways for patients to receive flu shots this year. No appointments are necessary for the following clinic dates.

The Adult Flu Shot Clinic will take place on three Saturdays, Oct. 7, Oct. 21 and Nov. 4, at Shannon Clinic-Beauregard, 120 E. Beauregard from 9 am to 2 pm. The vaccination fee is $30. High-dose vaccinations are available. Medicare and insurance are accepted.

The Pediatric Flu Shot Clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 3 through Thursday, Oct. 5 from 9 am to 4:30 pm in the basement of Shannon Clinic-Beauregard, 120 E. Beauregard. A Saturday clinic is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Shannon Pediatrics Clinic, 225 E. Beauregard. Flu shots are recommended for children age six months and older. Medicaid and private insurance accepted.

Vaccine is also available at all three Shannon Urgent Care locations— Shannon Clinic North, 2626 N. Bryant, 7 am to 7 pm; Urgent Care South, 3502 Knickerbocker Rd., 7 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, 7 am to 10 pm, Saturday and Sunday; Urgent Care West, 4251 Sunset Dr., 7 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, 7 am to 10 pm, Saturday and Sunday. Patients can receive the vaccine without an appointment.

Patients may also schedule an appointment with their primary care provider or pediatrician.
