It's Not Too Late to Get an Infamous Blaine's Pub Turkey and Ham for Thanksgiving

SAN ANGELO, TX — The annual smoked Turkey or Ham sale for charity will happen today and tomorrow at Blaine’s Pub, 10 W. Harris St.

Cody Sturm, Blaine's Pub proprietor, said that 12-14-pound fully-cooked smoked turkeys are $35 each and 10-pound hams are $45 each this year.

All of the profits will be donated to the the area school lunch forgiveness programs.

Cooking for Christ, an informal group of avid barbecuers, are manning the armada of smokers and barbeque pits in the empty lot adjacent Blaine’s Pub starting today. They are smoking the turkeys and hams for order. Patrons can pickup their order Tuesday afternoon.

The tradition is a growing concern. In 2014, $4,000 gross was raised. In 2015, it was over $6,000. Today he tradition raises over $10,000.
