Cornerstone Christian School Packs Boxes for Samaritan's Purse

SAN ANGELO, TX — This Friday, November 16, we are partnering with Samaritan's Purse International Relief to fill 150 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes with goodies to be sent around the world.

"Service is one of our core values here at Cornerstone," said Susan Brooks, Director of School Development. "And, because of it's importance, we take time each school quarter to either go out into the community to serve or we work on projects as a class/school that help and serve others."

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. Friday, all Cornerstone Christian School students, from pre-K through 12th grade, will meet in their gym to pack then pray over the boxes.

The 150 boxes will be delivered to a local distribution location here in San Angelo.

The school began in 1986 when a few local families were inspired by God to establish a Christian school. Today, the private school in San Angelo remains are committed to developing world-changing, academically excellent leaders, who are transformed by God and His Word.
