San Angelo ISD Dispelling Social Media Rumors About Lee Middle School

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Social media rumors are causing a stir at Lee Middle School in San Angelo today.

Here is a statement from San Angelo Independent School District Communications Director Derrick Jackson concerning Lee middle school rumors.

"We are aware of the rumors regarding a threat at Lee Middle School. We have addressed the concerns and are working in partnership with the San Angelo Police Department to ensure the safety of all of our students.

At this time, there is no reason for concern at this campus.

We have deemed the rumor to be untrue."
