UPDATED 2/22/18 8:00 a.m.

A Winter Weather Advisory  for freezing rain is in effect until noon Today.

Freezing drizzle and light freezing rain will be possible this morning, generally north of a San Angelo to Brady line. Ice will be possible on bridges, overpasses, sidewalks, and roadways. This will result in hazardous driving conditions this morning.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or sleet will create travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads.

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The National Weather Service has forecast that temperatures will stay below freezing over and there’s a chance of freezing drizzle and rain so ice may redevelop on bridges and overpasses.  The patchy freezing rain showers may linger into mid morning, before temperatures climb above freezing and the threat of wintry precipitation ends. Otherwise, thunderstorms will return to West Central Texas on Friday with perhaps some stronger storms on Saturday.
