AMBER Alert: Missing Tyler Brothers Found Safe

 

TYLER, TX – Two young brothers at the center of a Friday morning AMBER Alert have been found safe, according to the Tyler Police Department.

The boys, Legend Sanford, 3, and Kannon O’Neal, 4, were located around 1:15 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of E. Grande Blvd., near the Hamilton Ridge Condominiums. Police received a tip that led to their discovery.

The AMBER Alert was issued after the boys were reportedly picked up by an unidentified person in a dark-colored Mazda hatchback early Friday morning. They were last seen walking on Sybil Lane around 1 a.m. before the unknown driver picked them up.

TPD initially responded to a missing persons call from the children’s mother at 7:10 a.m. Friday. 

Following their recovery, the children were taken to the Children’s Advocacy Center for interviews and will undergo medical evaluations at a hospital. The case remains under investigation.
