Texas Rangers Investigating Officer Involved Shooting

COLEMAN, TX — The Coleman Police Department has confirmed a deadly officer-involved shooting around 8:30 this morning.

According to Chief Anthony Smith, the incident happened at the 700 block of Ripley St. The shooting is being investigated by the  Coleman County Sheriff’s Office, Coleman Police Department and Texas Rangers.

No further information has been released at this time.
