Heavy Police Presence Reported on the Northside

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Several San Angelo Police Department officers were dispatched to a possible robbery Tuesday afternoon on the northside of San Angelo. 

According to radio reports, around 1 p.m. several officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the 400 block of E 19th St. for the report of a possible robbery. 

Scanners indicated that three males fled the scene in a white vehicle. 

At one point officers with the SAPD Criminal Investigation Division were dispatched to the scene.

Reporters on scene claim there are a number of police on 19th as well as the corner of 29th and Pecan. It is unclear if these two scenes are related. 

An ambulance was called to the scene and a 68-year-old man was apparently taken to the hospital. Scanners indicated at one point that CPR was administered to the man.
