Boy Accidentally Shot While Shooting Sporting Clays

 

BIG SPRING, TX. — A Howard County boy is currently in the hospital after he was accidentally shot with a shotgun.

According to CBS7, the victim and another boy were shooting sporting clays when the victim accidentally entered the line of fire.

The victim was transported to Scenic Mountain Medical Center and authorities were called to investigate the shooting.

After conducting an initial investigation deputies believe the shooting was an accident.

The victim was then transported to a Lubbock area hospital for further treatment and he is expected to recover.
