Parents Arrested After 10-Year-Old Tests Positive for Meth

ABILENE, TX – Last month an Abilene couple was arrested after their 10-year-old son tested positive for methamphetamine.

According to KTXS, back in September Child Protective Services notified the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office that 39-year-old Kody Stone and 39-year-old Kathryn Crouch had both tested positive for meth. They also confirmed to detectives the couple's son had also tested positive.

The criminal complaint against the couple was filed on May 27 and a pre-indictment warrant was issued the very next day.

Stone and Crough were arrested on Monday, June 1st. The couple was charged with endangering a child. They were released after placing a $15,000 bond.
