WATCH: Police Respond to Shots Fired Call on 11th Street

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Police were dispatched to a shots fired call late Wednesday morning in the vicinity of 11th Street and N. Bryant Blvd. near Wendland Manufacturing.

Several Police officers converged on the location after SAPD received several calls of multiple gunshots.

Watch video from the scene:

According to SAPD Public Information Officer Tracy Piatt-Fox at the scene, officers went to a residence in the area and found a subject who had a firearm which had been discharged.

Initial radio reports indicate a subject had a Porsche car and put an AR-14 rifle in the trunk after firing over a dozen rounds.

Piatt-Fox says the firearm was discharged in the backyard of the residence into the ground and not in the direction of anyone.

There are no arrests at this time but the incident will be written up.

... as a Meter reader from 85 to the year 2000 ... in those 15 years I remember on tw0 residents on that short stretch of W.11th ... and the house numbers were on the north side of that street (which would be the even numbers) ... everything else was businesses on the South side of the street where Wendland Manufactures building and also the first Recycling center was. I just don't remember seeing an expensive vehicles like a Porsche at the house/houses. They must have hit the lottery between then I now if they own a Porsche... or they earn their money in a illegal manner, if you get my drift, LOL! It might be a good idea for SAPD to keep an eye on that residents!
