Sheriff: Body Found in Pecan Bayou

 

BROWNWOOD, TX —The Brown County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed a man’s body was found in the Pecan Bayou over the weekend.

According to KTXS, on Sunday night around 8:30 p.m. authorities located the body near the intersection of FM 2525 and CC Woodson Rd.

According to authorities, the victim is believed to be a homeless man in his mid-late 50’s. The victim is believed to live near the bridge on CC Woodson Rd.

The body has been sent to the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the identity of the victim and cause of death.
