Update: San Angelo Woman Charged with Murder in PaulAnn Shooting

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A 38-year-old San Angelo woman has been charged with Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon Causes Serious Bodily Injury Family Violence following a shooting investigation in the 1200 block of Daniel Street Friday.

Police were initially requested to the residence by the suspect, Lisa Clemons, for a reported domestic dispute.  During the call, San Angelo Public Safety Communications received a second call from a neighbor who reported gunfire in the area.  

Arriving officers located the victim, a 53-year-old male relative of Clemons, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  The man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.  He is reported to have life-threatening injuries.  No other persons were reported injured.

Additional charges are pending the outcome of this ongoing investigation.

UPDATE 6/6/2020 @ 4:15 p.m.

SAPD has confirmed the charges against Clemons have been upgraded to murder after the victim succumbed to his injuries. The victim has been identified as Antonio Fletcher.

Clemons is being held in the Tom Green County Jail. Bond has not been set.
