San Angelo Woman Indicted for Lewd Acts With a Minor

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Deputies with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office arrested a San Angelo woman at her residence on Saturday for a grand jury indictment for the sexual assault of a child dating back to December of 2018. 

According to the court documents, Lauren Holly Painter has been indicted on a charge of Sexual Assault of a Child following an assault that occurred on December 28, 2018.

Indictment reports indicate Painter intentionally and knowingly caused the sexual organ of a minor, who was 17 years of age at the time, to contact and penetrate the mouth of the defendant. 

On Tuesday May, 12, 29-year-old Lauren Holly Painter was indicted on a charge of Sexual Assault of a Child which is a Second Degree Felony in the state of Texas that carries a sentence from two to twenty years in a state prison, and or a fine not to exceed $10,000.

As of Saturday, May 25, 2020, Painter was arrested and later released on a $20,000.00 bond.
