Three Men Arrested For Their Involvement in Recent North Texas Park Shooting

FORT WORTH, TX – Three men are in custody who have been charged following their involvement in a recent shooting at a crowded North Texas park that wounded five people and sparked chaos among the crowd, said Fort Worth police on Wednesday.

21 year old Dcameron McKellar, and 26 year old, Kristopher Robinzine, are being held in the Tarrant County Jail and both men are charged with Aggravated assault with a Deadly Weapon. McKellar's bond has been set at $50,000 while Robinzine, who also has an additional Possession of Marijuana charge, is currently jailed on a $52,000 bond. An additional accomplice, 20 year old Kieston Allen, was later released on bond, and has been charged with Making a Terroristic Threat.

No attorneys for the three have been listed in any of the jail records at this time.

FWPD said the investigation and search for any possible suspects continues following the May 10 shooting at the Village Creek Park that sent nearly 400 people running for cover. Initially, police officers warned the partygoers multiple times they were in violation of local ordinances by riding all-terrain vehicles, drinking alcohol, and not abiding the social-distancing guidelines imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Police bodycam footage shows officers using patrol car loudspeakers and sirens to ask the crowd to disperse, with each request growing more urgent. The video later caught the sounds of countless gunshots and showed the large crowd dispersing as officers rushed to aid the wounded.
