Carlsbad Shooter Indicted for the Murder of Mickey Riley

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The man who allegedly killed his sister's boyfriend in Carlsbad then attempted to flee Canada has been indicted for murder. 

According to the indictment on May 12, Justin Ramirez is accused of murdering Mickey Riley with a firearm.

As previously reported, on February 15, deputies with Tom Green County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 11500 block of Marshall st. for the report of a shooting victim. 

When they arrived, the deputies found a man lying dead partially in the front yard and partially in the street. The affidavit states the man had two gunshot wounds to the head and chest. The deputies spoke with the victim's girlfriend who told them that her brother, Justin Ramirez, had killed her boyfriend. She continued by informing deputies that the two had gotten into an argument and then "Justin Ramirez pulled out a handgun and fired an entire clip" at the victim. She finished by telling deputies her boyfriend "was dead because of my brother." 

The parents of the two were asked about the incident and they claimed their son killed their daughter's boyfriend. 

The affidavit concludes with the deputy describing San Angelo EMS hooking the victim up to an EKG machine but was declared deceased.

Ramirez full list of charges include MURDER, GJI*MURDER, GOB*AGG ASSAULT W/DEADLY WEAPON and GOB*POSS CS PG 1 >=1G<4G. His bond is set at $500,000.

.... from his girlfriend. I found out today from a very reliable source that the girlfriend bonded out of jail and now works at a Dollar General on Main Street. What?? She commits a third degree felony, bonds out of jail on a $75,000 bond and is working as a cashier at a Dollar General store. Dang, what is that telling people? You can commit a Third degree Felony... bond out ... and get a job! No wonder our Justice system is such a mess! Unbelievably Scandalous... the Justice system is in need of a complete overhaul!
