Police Arrest 18-Year-Old Claiming to Have Coronavirus on Snapchat

 

DALLAS, TX – Authorities have confirmed Lorraine Maradiago has been arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat. Maradiago allegedly shared a video claiming she had tested positive for coronavirus and was willfully spreading it.

According to KTXS, the Carrollton Police Department confirmed the 18-year-old will be charged with a third-degree felony for the Snapchat videos she shared.

Maradiago told investigators she had tested negative for the virus and authorities have no proof she has tested positive. She is being held on a $20,000 bond and if released, she will be required to remain in quarantine for 21 days.
